Research background

With the rapid development of the cosmetics industry, consumer attention to product efficacy and safety has intensified. As a leading testing institution, Guangzhou Quality Inspection and Testing Institute needs to ensure the authenticity of test samples, the scientific rigor of the testing process, and the objectivity of the results. Therefore, to enhance testing efficiency and quality, accurately recruiting target trial participants and ensuring the standardized and orderly conduct of testing procedures have become key factors for the project's success. Based on this, Guangzhou Quality Inspection and Testing Institute has entrusted a specialized agency to provide testing support services, ensuring the scientific rigor and efficiency of cosmetics testing activities.

Research scope

In August 2014, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Guangzhou Quality Supervision and Testing Research Institute to assist with the 2014 annual cosmetics testing activities. The research scope included: recruiting and screening trial participants from specific demographic groups, organizing the implementation of test sample procedures, conducting follow-up user interviews after testing, and collecting user feedback data. The entire research process strictly adhered to testing standards and ethical requirements, ensuring the authenticity and representativeness of the sample data.

Expected outcomes

The final research work will provide Guangzhou Quality Inspection and Testing Institute with comprehensive, authentic, and quantifiable foundational data for its cosmetics efficacy testing, enabling scientific evaluation of actual product performance. Through a rigorous participant recruitment and follow-up system, the controllability and credibility of testing operations will be enhanced, further ensuring the objectivity and practical value of the test results, serving as a critical reference for product development, market access, and quality improvement in the cosmetics industry.
