Project Positioning Study for Lianjiang Household Appliance Industrial Park

Company overview

Guangdong Meijia Technology Co., Ltd. is a key member enterprise directly affiliated with the Zhejiang Private Enterprise Federation. In recent years, the company has actively promoted diversification and regionalization of its industrial layout. To optimize resource allocation, expand production capacity, and enhance its overall competitiveness in southern markets, the company plans to develop a new industrial park in Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province. Leveraging its superior geographical location and policy advantages, the park will be designed as an integrated modern industrial cluster platform featuring production, R&D, and supporting services.

Research background

With the acceleration of regional industrial development trends, local governments have significantly strengthened policy support for industrial park construction. The new park to be developed by Guangdong Meijia Technology Co., Ltd. in Lianjiang City, as a strategic project, not only bears the mission of expanding production and improving efficiency but also faces key challenges in accurately defining the park's functional positioning, effectively attracting high-quality enterprises, and ensuring long-term, healthy operations. To ensure scientific planning and smooth implementation, the company has decided to engage a third-party research firm during the pre-development phase to conduct an in-depth, systematic study on industrial foundations, policy environments, market potential, and benchmark case studies of existing industrial parks. This research will provide a practical development roadmap for the park's construction and operation.

Research scope

In October 2024, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Guangdong Meijia Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a comprehensive study on the current status of household appliance industry development in Lianjiang City, regional economic foundations, policy support, and target customer needs. The research scope includes: at the macro level, a detailed analysis of the industrial structure and economic development indicators in Lianjiang and the Guangxi region, identifying the distribution and potential of upstream and downstream resources within the household appliance supply chain; at the policy level, an in-depth review of local and provincial industrial real estate policies to identify opportunities and potential constraints; at the case study level, on-site visits and experience summaries of representative industrial parks in the surrounding area to provide reference models for park planning and future operations; and at the market level, in-depth interviews with local and nearby household appliance manufacturing enterprises to understand their site selection preferences, supporting requirements, investment intentions, and other factors, laying the foundation for formulating targeted recruitment strategies.

Expected outcomes

This research will provide Guangdong Meijia Technology Co., Ltd. with a comprehensive report covering the industrial environment, policy support, customer demand, and case study analysis. Based on this report, the company will clearly define the appropriate positioning and development direction for the Lianjiang industrial park, and scientifically formulate spatial layout and functional zoning plans. Additionally, by leveraging the policy analysis findings, the company will actively pursue relevant support resources to effectively reduce project construction and operational costs. Market demand analysis will help accurately identify target customer segments, enhancing the targeting and success rate of recruitment efforts. By drawing on the development pathways and operational models of benchmark parks, the study will also provide practical references for avoiding early-stage management and development risks, thereby supporting the project's sustainable and high-quality development.
