Employee Satisfaction Survey

Company overview

Tianjin Xinzi Catering Management Co., Ltd. is the operational entity behind the Yuque brand, providing services in store operations, brand management, and chain service system construction. Yuque Hot Pot targets mass dining scenarios, leveraging its product offerings, service experiences, and standardized operational capabilities to expand its regional market presence. As the number of stores and operating environments continue to evolve, the company has increasingly prioritized frontline employee experiences, store management coordination, and team stability.

Research background

The catering industry is characterized by high service intensity, strong employee turnover, and fine-grained store management. Employee experience directly impacts service quality, customer satisfaction, and store performance. For chain catering enterprises, employees' perceptions of compensation and benefits, shift scheduling and rest, management communication, training and development, promotion opportunities, and team atmosphere significantly influence retention intentions and organizational commitment. Yuque Hot Pot needs to conduct a systematic survey to understand the authentic feedback of employees across different regions, store locations, and job roles, providing actionable insights to enhance store management effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Research scope

In May 2026, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Tianjin Xinzi Catering Management Co., Ltd. to conduct a targeted investigation into Yuque Hot Pot employee satisfaction. This study focuses on stores in Qingdao and Zibo, Shandong Province, combining online in-depth interviews with online questionnaire surveys. In the initial phase, interviews were conducted with employees across various positions to explore their work experiences, store management practices, compensation and benefits, shift scheduling and rest, training and development, team dynamics, and retention intentions, identifying key issues and guiding questionnaire design. Subsequently, anonymous questionnaires were distributed to employees at target stores, with cross-analyses conducted by job role, store location, and employment type, resulting in agile store reports and a regional investigation report.

Expected outcomes

This study is expected to help Yuque Hot Pot gain a clearer understanding of the current state of frontline employee satisfaction, core concerns, and key factors influencing retention. It will identify differences among stores in management communication, work arrangements, and employee support, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. The findings will serve as decision support for the company to refine its store management systems, enhance employee experiences, strengthen team stability, and support overall service quality improvements in the chain catering sector.
