Public Opinion Survey on Hospital Reform and Restructuring

Company overview

Shuiyi Medical Health Management Co., Ltd. was established through joint investment by the ShuiGang Fund and other strategic partners, including China Life Insurance, with a registered capital of RMB 0.5 billion. As a platform under the ShuiGang Fund dedicated to industrial investment, Shuiyi Medical focuses on two core areas: healthcare and elderly care services, aiming to promote the integration and development of high-quality medical resources. The company is currently advancing comprehensive reform and restructuring of Beijing ShuiGang Hospital, with the goal of enhancing overall operational efficiency and service capabilities through institutional optimization and the introduction of advanced management concepts.

Research background

In the context of the imminent reform and restructuring of ShuiGang Hospital, employees' awareness, attitudes, and potential reactions will directly influence the pace and effectiveness of the reform process. Recognizing the importance of employee input and concerns, Shuiyi Medical understands that these perspectives are critical in shaping the reform strategy. Therefore, a scientific research approach is urgently needed to gain a deep understanding of employees' true opinions and recommendations, providing data-driven insights and strategic direction for the reform initiative.

Research scope

In June 2018, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Shuiyi Medical Health Management Co., Ltd. to conduct an integrated qualitative and quantitative study among employees of Beijing ShuiGang Hospital. Standardized questionnaires were distributed to collect employees' attitudes, concerns, and expectations regarding the hospital's reform and restructuring. Additionally, one-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted to further explore specific recommendations and underlying emotional responses. The study covered employees across various job positions and levels, ensuring the comprehensiveness and representativeness of the findings, and providing a detailed and systematic employee-centered perspective for the development of the reform plan.

Expected outcomes

This study is expected to comprehensively capture employees' attitudes and opinions toward the hospital's reform and restructuring, identify potential organizational resistance and psychological barriers during the reform process, and uncover specific recommendations for improvement in areas such as work mechanisms, management models, and benefit policies. The findings will provide Shuiyi Medical with robust data support and strategic insights to scientifically formulate the reform plan, thereby enhancing the rationality, feasibility, and employee acceptance of the reform, and ultimately facilitating the smooth implementation of the overall hospital transformation.
