Public Opinion Survey on the Reform and Restructuring of Hospital Employees

Company overview

Shuiyi Medical Health Management Co., Ltd. is a professional health and medical platform jointly established by the Shui Gang Fund and strategic partners such as China Life Insurance, with a registered capital of RMB 500 million. As a key industrial investment vehicle under the Shui Gang Fund, the company focuses on key public welfare sectors including healthcare and elderly care, aiming to drive industrial upgrading and integration through capital empowerment. Currently, Shuiyi Medical is actively advancing the reform and restructuring of Beijing Shui Gang Hospital, with the goal of enhancing the hospital's overall service capabilities and operational efficiency

Research background

Beijing Shui Gang Hospital, a comprehensive medical institution with a long history, faces significant challenges during its reform and restructuring process. Employee acceptance and expectations play a crucial role in determining the success or failure of the transformation. Employees' understanding, attitudes, and suggestions regarding the reform directly influence the continuity of organizational culture and the smooth implementation of change. Therefore, Shuiyi Medical decided early in the reform process to conduct a scientific research initiative to comprehensively understand the real opinions and concerns of hospital employees, providing a reference basis for formulating a scientifically sound, balanced, and sustainable reform and restructuring plan that integrates development and stability.

Research scope

In June 2018, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Shuiyi Medical Health Management Co., Ltd. to conduct a study combining quantitative questionnaire surveys and qualitative one-on-one in-depth interviews with employees of Beijing Shui Gang Hospital. The research covered employees' attitudes toward hospital reform, the anticipated impact on individual career development, expectations regarding post-reform management systems and benefit packages, as well as suggestions for the hospital's future development direction. Through scientific sampling and hierarchical classification, the study ensured representation across all job levels and management tiers, aiming to comprehensively capture employee voices and concerns.

Expected outcomes

This research aims to provide Shuiyi Medical with an objective, authentic, and actionable summary report of employee opinions. By analyzing employees' expectations, acceptance levels, sources of anxiety, and constructive suggestions regarding the reform, the study will help Shuiyi Medical accurately identify key improvement areas, enhance employee engagement and satisfaction during the reform process, and strengthen organizational cohesion. The final output will serve as data and strategic support for formulating a reform and restructuring plan that balances human-centered management with efficient operations.
