Research background
As Jexin continues to expand its market footprint and increase its presence across cities, brand communication effectiveness and on-ground execution have become key determinants of sales growth. In response to increasingly competitive market conditions, Jexin seeks to conduct a systematic investigation into the relationship between brand awareness and in-store promotional displays. The study will further analyze the correlation between brand exposure in different cities and sales performance, identifying key factors that drive urban-level brand recognition. This research will provide quantifiable insights to support future market strategy adjustments and resource allocation.
Research scope
CEIDEA Research recently conducted a targeted field study across 12 cities in Guangdong, Sichuan, Shandong, Hunan, Hubei, and Tianjin—six provinces. The project included two key components: quantitative consumer surveys conducted within retail stores and on-site observations of in-store promotional displays. The research focused on consumer shopping behaviors, installment payment usage habits, brand awareness, perception, and trust. In addition, the research team conducted on-site visits and photo documentation of target retail locations, recording the quantity, placement, visual clarity, and compliance of Jexin promotional materials. By analyzing these display metrics in conjunction with local sales data, the study aims to identify potential relationships between brand visibility and sales performance, providing first-hand evidence on the effectiveness of brand communication.
Expected outcomes
This study will enable Jexin China to comprehensively understand the variations in consumer brand awareness, usage behaviors, and brand sentiment across different cities, as well as clearly identify the actual role of in-store promotional materials in brand communication. The findings will establish a clear correlation between promotional material placement and sales performance. The final report will provide a data-backed foundation for developing targeted city-level marketing strategies, promotional material deployment plans, and in-store display standards. This will support Jexin's efforts to enhance its brand value and achieve refined, sustainable regional sales growth.
