Research background
To expand its commercial real estate portfolio, Shi Rong Group plans to develop an integrated commercial complex in the Liweirivera area of Zhuhai, combining dining, drinking, entertainment, shopping, and leisure functions. During the project's initiation and planning stages, the group urgently requires a comprehensive understanding of local consumer behaviors and consumption trends to ensure the project's offerings align with regional consumption patterns and market needs, thereby providing scientific guidance for retail mix planning and leasing strategies. Research Scope In February 2021, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Shi Rong Group to conduct a consumer demand study in the Liweirivera and surrounding areas, combining qualitative interviews with quantitative questionnaires. The research focused on key aspects including consumer purchasing power, preferred retail formats, shopping habits, consumption destinations, and media exposure channels, aiming to comprehensively map the lifestyle and consumption profile of the target customer segment. Expected Outcomes The final research findings will provide detailed data and strategic insights to support the Shi Rong Group's project approval decisions, architectural and design planning, and leasing strategy formulation. The results will help the project accurately grasp the regional market dynamics, enhance commercial value, and achieve a two-way alignment of foot traffic and revenue generation.
