Research background
To support the development of the Smart New Energy Automotive Industrial Park and meet the growing housing needs of talent within the park, enhancing the overall carrying capacity of the park, GAC Group has launched the Auto Town Project. The project plans to deliver over 6,500 residential units, with the first phase scheduled for completion in 2021. The majority of these units are intended for targeted allocation to qualified employees working at the Panyu Auto City. To ensure smooth project implementation and rational allocation of housing resources, a comprehensive understanding of employees' purchasing eligibility, intentions, and specific housing needs is required.
Research scope
In May 2019, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Guangmo Property, a subsidiary of GAC Group, to conduct a specialized survey targeting potential clients for the targeted residential units in the Auto Town Project. The survey leveraged GAC's internal online platforms, SMS notifications, and on-site promotional materials, covering employees from 22 enterprises within the park. It systematically collected data on basic personal information, purchasing eligibility, purchase intentions, budget considerations, preferred floor plans, preferred timing for purchase, and key concerns regarding project amenities and services, providing precise data support for future sales strategies and housing resource allocation.
Expected outcomes
The research report will provide scientific data support for GAC Group in formulating targeted residential allocation policies, optimizing product designs, and enhancing supporting services. Through systematic analysis of employee housing needs and expectations, the project aims to achieve efficient and rational resource allocation, while strengthening employee sense of belonging and organizational cohesion, thereby laying a solid foundation for the successful delivery of the Auto Town Project and the long-term sustainability of the park.
