Customer Satisfaction Survey for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Company overview

CAMS New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (CAMS) was jointly established on May 16, 2019, by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Investment Co., Ltd., First Automotive Engineering Co., Ltd. of China, Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd., and Anhui Jianghuai Automotive Group Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, CAMS combines the strengths of automotive and charging industry players, offering an end-to-end solution spanning the research, manufacturing, and intelligent connectivity software services of charging infrastructure. Its service portfolio covers private, semi-public, public, and commercial users, creating a seamless connection between power supply and end-user platforms.

Research background

Since the successful deployment of 100 charging stations across 20 cities in 2020, CAMS has witnessed a steady rise in user registrations and engagement. However, the company still lacks a systematic user feedback mechanism to evaluate the rationality of station placements and whether product features adequately meet user needs. As a fast-growing emerging enterprise, gaining authentic user perspectives is essential for product optimization and service enhancement. Research Scope In March 2021, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by CAMS New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a four-round annual customer satisfaction survey. The focus areas include users' awareness of the CAMS brand, satisfaction with charging station facilities and services, as well as feedback and suggestions regarding issues encountered during usage. This study aims to comprehensively assess the performance of products and services from a user-centered perspective. Expected Outcomes Through this continuous satisfaction survey, CAMS aims to gain a deep understanding of users' real needs and pain points, identify service gaps, and optimize the layout of charging station functions and user experience strategies. The findings will provide reliable data support for iterative improvements in brand operations and service systems, enhancing customer satisfaction and brand recommendation rates, and serving as strategic guidance for the company's future development.
