Company overview

Hulat Live is a video-based experiential knowledge service platform under the umbrella of Beijing Xingnuoli Culture & Media Co., Ltd., dedicated to delivering in-depth content products across multiple vertical domains—including literature, history, parenting, education, healthcare, cuisine, baby care, fashion, pets, and board games—through partnerships with renowned IPs and top-tier KOLs. The platform centers on high-quality PGC content and focuses on the evolving knowledge service landscape amid cultural consumption upgrades. It has currently signed over 60 KOLs, including prominent figures such as Yu Dan and Li Yinxia, and has launched 25 themed column content, attracting a user base of millions and nearly 100,000 paying users

Research background

In the rapidly growing market for knowledge service platforms, user retention, content quality, and service experience have become key determinants of a platform's core competitiveness. As Hulat Live continues to expand, there is an urgent need to understand users' overall satisfaction and specific feedback regarding the platform's services. This will enable the identification of latent user needs, optimize content curation and product experience, and enhance user retention and conversion rates to paid services

Research scope

In August 2017, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Beijing Xingnuoli Culture & Media Co., Ltd. to conduct a user satisfaction study on the Hulat Live platform. The study employed telephone interviews, randomly sampling registered and paying users nationwide. Key research areas included user frequency of use, usage scenarios, content preferences, product experience evaluations, functional requirements, satisfaction scores, and NPS recommendation indices. The study aims to capture users' overall impressions and usage feedback regarding the platform's services and to assess their suggestions for improvements in existing content and services

Expected outcomes

The final report will systematically present users' overall satisfaction with the Hulat Live platform, content preferences, and potential needs. It will analyze user behavior patterns and identify key product pain points. The findings will provide scientific data support for future product function optimization, content category upgrades, customer operations, and market strategy development, further enhancing user experience and brand competitiveness
