Zhilan International - Feasibility Study of Entering the Recruitment Website Market

Company overview
Beijing Zhilan International Investment Management Co., Ltd., established in 2010, is a comprehensive investment consulting firm specializing in investment management, asset allocation, corporate consulting, and project operations. The company has long served clients in the financial, technology, and internet sectors, providing efficient financing and investment solutions as well as professional project incubation and management services for enterprises and high-net-worth individuals
Research background
With the advancement of digital economy and the segmentation of the human resources market, traditional recruitment websites are facing increasingly intense competition. Zhilan International plans to invest in building a new type of recruitment platform focused on the financial sector and mid-to-senior level talent services. In the early stages of project initiation, it is essential to conduct research to understand job seekers' and hiring managers' usage habits, preference patterns, and selection criteria for existing platforms—forming the foundational basis for designing the platform's product structure and service model positioning.
Research scope
In November 2015, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Beijing Zhilan International Investment Management Co., Ltd. to conduct two types of surveys among job seekers and human resources professionals from financial institutions in Beijing and the East China region. First, a questionnaire-based survey was conducted with job seekers meeting predefined criteria (age, education level, career direction) to understand their usage habits of recruitment platforms, preferred features, trust in information quality, and pain points; second, in-depth interviews were conducted with human resources professionals in the financial sector to explore their frequency of platform usage, willingness to collaborate, satisfaction with current platforms, and suggestions for improvement, systematically collecting feedback and functional requirements from their actual usage experiences.
Expected outcomes
This study systematically presents target users' acceptance levels and core functional requirements for a new recruitment platform, clearly identifying their key concerns regarding information quality, job matching accuracy, user interface design, and backend support services. The findings provide decision-making support for the product structure design, differentiated competitive positioning, and service module planning of Beijing Zhilan's recruitment platform, effectively reducing the risk of trial and error during the initial development and launch phases, and enhancing the platform's market entry feasibility and competitiveness
