Research background
As a rapidly emerging provider of new energy charging solutions, CAMS has swiftly expanded its charging infrastructure nationwide. By November 2020, the company had successfully deployed 100 charging stations across 20 cities and accumulated over 20,000 registered users. To further improve user experience, optimize station layout and service design, and assess the brand's awareness and effectiveness among target audiences, CAMS commissioned CEIDEA Research to conduct a user satisfaction study in March 2021. The study aims to systematically identify user needs and feedback, providing actionable data support for strategic decision-making and product and service improvements.
Research scope
In March 2021, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by CAMS to conduct a comprehensive study on users' perceptions of brand awareness, charging station usage experience, feature settings, station distribution rationality, and overall satisfaction. The research employed a mixed-method approach combining quantitative surveys and qualitative in-depth interviews, covering users across various usage frequencies and scenarios, with particular focus on the usage habits and suggestions of CAMS's registered and active users. Key research dimensions included brand recognition pathways, service facility evaluations at charging stations, charging convenience, safety, and the level of system intelligence, aiming to present a comprehensive and authentic user feedback picture.
Expected outcomes
Through this user satisfaction study, CAMS will obtain comprehensive data on the effectiveness of brand communication and the performance of its charging station operations. The study will identify key factors influencing user satisfaction, providing actionable recommendations for future service optimization and station planning. Beyond enhancing user retention and satisfaction, the research outcomes will lay a solid foundation for CAMS to build a more competitive brand image and service system, accelerating the strategic implementation and market expansion of its presence in the new energy charging sector.
