New Times Group - Employee Satisfaction Research

Company overview
New Times Health Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in March 1995 and is a controlled subsidiary of New Times Holding (Group) Co., Ltd., affiliated with China Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation Group Corporation. The company is headquartered in Beijing with a registered capital of RMB 100 million. As one of the earliest domestic enterprises to obtain the "Direct Selling Business License" in the Chinese direct-selling industry, New Times Health Industry Group has established a complete industrial chain covering raw material collection, R&D, production, sales, training, and after-sales services. The group currently oversees 4 subsidiaries, 3 business divisions, and 31 sales branches, and is a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise. It is also the only centrally-owned enterprise in the direct-selling industry.
Research background
As a large-scale enterprise with a nationwide, multi-level organizational structure, New Times Health Industry Group faces increasing management complexity as its scale continues to expand and its workforce grows in size and diversity. Differences in organizational culture, employee satisfaction, and engagement are emerging across various units, departments, and job positions within the group. To accurately identify key issues in management practices and employee relations, and to further enhance organizational cohesion and management efficiency, the company urgently requires a scientific research approach to conduct a systematic study on internal employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
Research scope
In 2019, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by New Times Health Industry Group to conduct a special research project on employee satisfaction and engagement within the group. The study adopted a questionnaire-based approach, focusing on three core dimensions: employee satisfaction, engagement, and organizational climate. It explored employee perceptions across various demographic attributes, including unit affiliation, job level, tenure, age group, gender, and educational background. By conducting cross-unit and cross-time comparative analyses across subsidiaries, business divisions, and departments, the study comprehensively identified employees' psychological expectations, alignment between incentive mechanisms and employee motivations, perceptions of work environment, and key management challenges. A continuous and comparable analysis report was ultimately produced, along with specific management recommendations based on the findings.
Expected outcomes
Through systematic data analysis, this research will enable New Times Health Industry Group to accurately understand the actual levels of employee satisfaction and engagement across its subsidiaries and departments. It will precisely identify key linkages between employee attitudes and organizational management practices. The research findings will provide empirical support for the group's optimization of incentive mechanisms, improvement of organizational climate, and development of employee care initiatives. Additionally, the results will serve as a strategic reference for enhancing management effectiveness, strengthening internal cohesion, and promoting the group's high-quality development.
