Company overview

Beijing BOE Health Technology Co., Ltd. was established on March 30, 2017, and is an innovative enterprise focused on professional service sectors. Leveraging BOE's industrial foundation in technology, healthcare, and display technologies, the company is committed to the research and promotion of health technology products, with particular emphasis on the integration and innovation between smart wearable devices and health management services, aiming to drive the practical application of health technology across various scenarios.

Research background

With the rapid development and widespread adoption of smart wearable devices across different population groups, market acceptance of wearable health monitoring products has been steadily increasing. Targeting the special group of pregnant women with gestational diabetes, Beijing BOE Health Technology Co., Ltd. plans to develop a wearable product capable of monitoring exercise heart rate to meet their actual needs in prenatal health management. To scientifically assess market potential and user profiles, the company intends to conduct an initial survey to comprehensively understand the lifestyle behaviors and latent needs of this population.

Research scope

In October 2018, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by Beijing BOE Health Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a specialized behavioral study on individuals affected by gestational diabetes. The study employed a hybrid approach combining online and offline questionnaire surveys, covering multiple representative cities and obstetric hospitals. It systematically collected data on key aspects such as prenatal check-up frequency, physical activity patterns, dietary preferences, and sleep habits, aiming to identify pain points and unmet needs in health management. A realistic and multidimensional user profile was constructed based on the findings. After statistical analysis, the data ensures high practical value in product planning and market positioning.

Expected outcomes

This study is expected to clearly present the behavioral characteristics and functional requirements of the gestational diabetes population in prenatal health management, providing Beijing BOE Health Technology Co., Ltd. with credible and actionable data support during the early stages of product development. The findings will guide product feature design and consumer targeting. Additionally, the research results will serve as a basis for subsequent product testing, marketing strategy formulation, and user education, enabling the company to accurately enter the market and achieve scientific product implementation and value realization
