Research background
In order to evaluate the achievements of the Chongqing Zhongyuan District Family Planning Association in community services during 2019, particularly in terms of service quality for elderly residents, the Association decided to conduct a resident satisfaction survey. The objective of this survey is to conduct an in-depth investigation of elderly residents within the jurisdiction, understanding their perceptions of the performance of community staff and their satisfaction with service quality, thus providing data support for government performance evaluations. This research not only helps assess the effectiveness of community work but also offers direction for future policy and service improvements.
Research scope
In March 2020, CEIDEA Research was commissioned by the Chongqing Zhongyuan District Family Planning Association to conduct a community satisfaction survey involving 2,000 elderly residents aged 60 and above. The survey was conducted via telephone interviews, focusing on the following key areas: 1) Understanding the implementation of community staff in areas such as family planning policy promotion, elderly health management, and daily life support; 2) Investigating residents' evaluations of community staff in terms of service attitude, work efficiency, and professionalism; 3) Exploring the needs of elderly residents regarding community services, identifying the difficulties and challenges they face in daily life, and assessing the extent to which current services meet their needs; 4) Collecting suggestions and expectations from elderly residents regarding future improvements in community work. Based on these data, CEIDEA Research will provide the Chongqing Zhongyuan District Family Planning Association with specific feedback and data support on the quality of community services, helping to refine performance evaluations.
Expected outcomes
Through this survey, the Chongqing Zhongyuan District Family Planning Association will obtain comprehensive data on the service quality of community staff and resident satisfaction. These data will serve as objective benchmarks for government and family planning authorities when evaluating the performance of community staff, enabling them to identify shortcomings and optimize policy implementation and service processes. The report will also include an analysis of the needs of elderly residents along with actionable recommendations for improvement, providing guidance for future work directions to ensure that community services better meet the needs of the elderly and enhance residents' quality of life. Ultimately, the survey results will provide strong support for performance evaluations of the Chongqing Zhongyuan District Family Planning Association, and offer valuable reference for government decision-making and policy refinement
